“ Lovely Japanese food at a good price. We had bentos, ramen, salmon don and sushi rolls which were all very nice and of large portions. ”
“ I have come three times already and the food never disappointed. My favorite restaurant in Maidstone. ”
“ Very cute little place with a few tables upstairs and more downstairs. We had tonkatsu, sushi, gyoza and dorayaki with green tea for dinner - everything was absolutely delicious, service was polite, friendly and very quick even though there were a number of tables in the restaurant at the same time (Friday evening) Will definitely be back! The bento boxes and ramen that went past us to other tables all looked and smelled delicious! ”
“ Very pleased with my first sushi order from here. I would definitely consider having it again. ”
“ Highly recommend Tokyo sushi - fresh and tasty! It’s so great to have another independent restaurant pop up in Maidstone. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed ”
“ Very good sashimi (yellow fins tuna), good service and a good selection of dishes (both sushi and ramen). Personally I did not like the rolls (a bit shy in flavor), but I liked the good quality ”
“ First time trying this Japanese place and I was really impressed. The service was quick and I had the Takoyaki and Spicy Chicken Ramen, both were so good! They even gave me some fresh orange slices after I finished, which was a nice touch. The restaurant is quite small but I loved the cosy vibe. I’ll definitely come back! ”
“ Tokyo is a such a great addition to the restaurants on Earl st. It’s pretty small but really nicely decorated with lots of japanese art and music playing. The sushi is so fresh, we had a mixture of sashimi and rolls and they all come out as they are prepped. They’re plated up really beautifully and the portion sizes are generous compared to other sushi restaurants I’ve been to. We went to Tokyo quite late and the staff were really accommodating even though we were a tight squeeze before closing. Would definitely recommend trying Tokyo especially if you’re short on time, everything came out really quickly and was delicious. We look forward to going back ”
